PRESS RELEASE: Guildford, UK – 18 August 2020: Ergomed plc, (LSE: ERGO) (“Ergomed” or the “Company”), a company focused on providing specialized services to the pharmaceutical industry, is pleased to announce that it is the first organization to have achieved the status of compliance with international data protection and privacy standards under the MyData-TRUST label ‘Good Data Protection Practice’ (GDP2®).
As part of Ergomed’s corporate social responsibility, the Company is committed to international compliance with data protection laws. The Company’s activities are focused on ensuring that data protection is the foundation of trustworthy business relationships and an important factor in the reputation of Ergomed as a group.
The intensive MyData-TRUST label process, undertaken over the last two months, required Ergomed to undergo an online assessment with a series of additional one-on-one interviews with a full assessment from the MyData-TRUST team of Ergomed’s current data protection and privacy compliance measures.
Ergomed’s Data Protection Officer, Bosko Vojkic, part of the cross-functional Ergomed team working on this project said: “This label reflects Ergomed’s unwavering commitment to ensuring compliance with data protection requirements throughout the organization. It is important to us that our clients have full confidence in Ergomed and our data protection practices. This label is further encouragement to continue these practices and to build on the solid foundations that Ergomed has already created.”
