Ian Jamieson’s professional career spans more than four decades of corporate finance experience, during which he has advised on over 450 transactions across a broad range of sectors and deal sizes. A Chartered Accountant, he brings deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and strategic advisory, together with extensive relationships across both the corporate and private equity communities.
In 2005, Ian founded an independent corporate finance advisory firm, having identified a gap in the market for an adviser dedicated to serving management teams independently of the broader institutional landscape. Under his leadership, the firm established a reputation for delivering trusted, conflict-free advice on complex transactions. His transaction experience primarily involves multi-billion pound cross-border buyouts, and includes household names such as Vue Cinemas, Portakabin, Miller Homes, Cognita, Neptune, HBX Group, Nouryon, Keywords Trust and Amber River.
Prior to founding the firm in 2005, Ian served as Chief Executive of Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he led one of the leading advisory practices in the market and built a track record of guiding clients through high-stakes, value-defining transactions.
Ian’s combination of transactional depth, sector breadth, and capital markets insight will be an asset to the Board as The Ergomed Group continues to execute its growth strategy and create long-term value for its clients, partners, and shareholders.
